Gloucester County Special Services School District

It is the mission of the Gloucester County Special Services School District (GCSSSD) to enable students to become:

It is the expectation of the Gloucester County Special Services School District that all pupils achieve the NJCCCS at all grade levels. GCSSSD is also dedicated to providing shared services that support students within their local schools.

In order to achieve these goals, the district, in partnership with parents, sending districts, institutions of higher education, local businesses and community organizations, will provide:

• Excellence in innovative instructional practice
• A safe, supportive, drug-free environment    
• Opportunities for exploration and discovery    
• Technological resources to promote learning    
• Activities designed to develop functional and career-related skills    
• Therapeutic and assistive technology opportunities
