Last week members of the Alpha 3 team proudly attended the AACE International 2026 Conference & Expo, joining industry professionals from around the world for three days of learning, collaboration, and celebration.
This year's conference marked two significant milestones: 70 years of AACE International and 50 years of certification excellence. For seven decades, AACE has helped shape the future of cost engineering and project controls, while its certifications have set the global standard of excellence for professionals dedicated to advancing the industry.
The conference featured an outstanding lineup of technical sessions led by industry experts, thought-provoking panel discussions, engaging keynote presentations, networking opportunities with peers, and a dynamic vendor expo showcasing the latest innovations and technologies. The event provided valuable insights into emerging trends, best practices, and the future of project controls, reinforcing the importance of continuous learning and professional development.
One of the conference highlights was an inspiring keynote presentation by Donnie Campbell, who challenged attendees to lead with integrity and purpose by instilling strong values in the people they mentor and work alongside. His message served as a powerful reminder that great leadership extends beyond technical expertise—it is built on character, accountability, and investing in others.
