Get to Know Us | Alpha 3's Project Controls Manager
Matt Marzilli is a Project Controls Manager at Alpha 3 who was initially hired by the firm in 2009 upon graduation from Plymouth State University, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Originally from New Jersey, and currently residing in southern California, Matt has worked across the United States providing project controls services. Most notably, Matt has also spent significant time working projects in Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., all across Maryland, and throughout the southern gulf region. Matt has found great enjoyment in working with a diverse variety of people across the country.
Matt has eleven plus years of experience in scheduling, project controls, schedule analysis, construction claims, and change management. His experience includes projects in railway infrastructure, environmental remediation, pipeline, electric transmission and distribution, fossil and nuclear generation, oil and gas, transportation, and commercial construction. He has provided scheduling, project controls, overall budget, and construction claims support for engineers, contractors, and owners as a member of both project and program management teams. He has supported large capital projects on site, construction programs across multiple sites, and planning and coordination for numerous disciplines of engineering and construction.
Matt is incredibly social, active, and enthusiastic. Outside of work, Matt enjoys skiing, running, weight lifting, volunteering, beach volleyball, and socializing with his friends. Matt has run the Boston Marathon twice, while raising money for his favorite charity, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes. Matt currently volunteers at the Elks Club in Newport Beach, California. Matt is very close with his brother John, and enjoys spending as much time as he can with his two lovely nieces, Mia and Emma.
